About the speaker:
Dr. Alavikunhu Panthakkan is a dynamic research scientist in electronics engineering and image signal processing. He is presently working as Assistant Professor at College of Engineering and IT, University of Dubai. His research interests are in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, copyright protection, authentication, medical image processing and video signal processing. He received Ph.D. in electronics engineering. He has 15+ years of industrial and academic experience. He has published 40+ papers in international conferences and journals. He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), member of Institution of Engineers (MIE), member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), member of International Association of Computer and Information Technology (IACSIT) and member of Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED).
